Tymake · last updated 2 September 2026
Tymake is time and activity tracking software from Symake Solutions Private Limited, provided to organisations for use by their staff. These terms cover who may use it and on what basis.
Tymake is provided to named people by the organisation that operates it. You may use it only with an account issued to you, and only on machines your organisation has asked you to install it on.
Accounts are personal. Do not share your password or let somebody else work under your account — the record would then say something untrue about both of you.
Tymake records how working time is spent while you are clocked in, so hours can be verified. Exactly what is recorded, and what is not, is set out on the privacy page. Read it — it is the more important of these two documents.
Activity is measured as keyboard and mouse input, and as which application was in front. That is not a measure of how hard somebody worked, and the product says so on the screens where those figures appear.
Reading, thinking, meetings and phone calls all register as inactive. Any decision about a person should take that into account rather than treating a percentage as a verdict.
Tymake is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running and correct, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If the server cannot be reached, the app keeps recording locally and uploads when it can — so a network outage does not lose your hours.
These terms and the privacy page may change as the product does. Material changes to what is recorded will be communicated by your organisation before they take effect, not applied quietly.
When you leave the organisation, your account is deactivated. Records already collected are kept for the retention period on the privacy page, because hours worked may still be needed for payroll.
Uninstalling the app stops all recording immediately.
